Peanut Butter Double Chocolate Chip cookies. Best Recipe Ever.

Peanut butter double chocolate chip cookies
yield about 5 dozen

2 ¼ cups  flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1/3  cup milk
¾ tsp salt
1 egg
1 stick butter
1 cup peanut butter
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 tbsp of vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 375°.

Melt 1 cup of the chocolate chips over boiling water; cool slightly.

Cream the butter, peanut butter and sugars until light. Add the egg and mix until fluffy.   Add melted chips and mix until smooth

Blend the flour, baking powder, soda and salt together well. Add these dry ingredients to the butter mixture. Add the chocolate chips.

Drop cookie dough by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheets.  (I HIGHLY suggest buying a little ice cream/cookie scoop.  Makes life a lot easier)
Bake for 10-12 minutes.
